The apartments are right in the middle of Figueretes with excellent views of the bay. Their location is great for the local beach and Ibiza Town, and the few restaurants in Figueretes that may be worth visiting.

The apartment block adjoins the older hotel block of the same complex and the rooms are very clean and tidy. Generally a great place to stay as the Mar y Playa II provides higher-standard accommodation, than the Figueretes average.

The rooms surround a sunbathing area and pool, which may make them feel claustrophobic (no shagging on the balcony). You will be blasted with the sun in the morning or afternoon, dependent on the side of the pool you are facing. A few rooms face directly out to sea, and get the sun most of the day, which can make them very hot in the early evening/late afternoon.

TV and direct-dial phones are available in every room, and the towels are changed every day by the maid service, should you want/need it.

Two pools, restaurants, and snack bars are available between the Mar y Playa II and the neighboring Ibiza Playa hotel.

The apartments are available through a number of mainstream holiday companies, ask your travel agent, or check the holiday brochures, and it can be noisy with kids in the summer.

Occasionally, in low season, this hotel sells rooms at a reasonable rate through the airport accommodation agents, or you could book direct. Many of the internet hotel room booking services include the Mar y Playa II
