List of parties 2009 - FACE OF IBIZA SAT NIGHT


Privilege is located at KM7, on the brand spanking new motorway that links Ibiza to San Antonio via a succession of roundabouts, tunnels and flyovers.

It all started as "Ku", which, although considerably smaller at the time, was 'the' club in Ibiza. It had the name, the reputation that started the Ibiza clubbing scene.

This is a big club, in fact the largest nightclub in the world, complete with a pool which has, on many occasion been mistaken for a large, very wet dance floor; it is, after all, just about where you think a dance floor should be.

The parties here are massive and can be spectacular. They can also easily fail due to the sheer size of the place.

Once the club is full, you will dance where you end up standing. Manumission made the most effort with hype, production and spectacle before moving on to Amnesia.

The new island night for 2009 that is sure to get some serious attention is 'FACE OF IBIZA' taking place at PRIVILEGE on saturday nights.

Born out of the departure of DJ Oliver and Baby Marcelo from La Troya, (Which has moved back to Amnesia) This party looks set to become 'the' party of the summer, already earning a great reputatiuon having previewd around Europe this spring. Combined with the existing following of DJ OLIVER and BABY MAECELO things look good for 2009

BAck to the venue: Low season, Privilege can easily feel empty, it is so big. Changing facilities would be nice, so you could make proper use of the pool and learn synchronised swimming while out with your mates. Mmmm, synchronised swimming...if you are tempted to jump in, taxi drivers do not tend to pick you up until you have dried out.

Privilege as a venue is big, show off, and on a good nights provides the 'Ibiza Spectacle' that you are most likely to have heard of.

The sound system is now fabulous, but the toilets around the back of the stage smell rotten...
