Vila Mercedes is definitely not one of the places that you are likely to find unless it is recommended to you - What would you be doing by the harbour in the west end of San Ann to find it by accident? I have passed by many times, but never noticed it until I was taken there by a friend recently.

So, I am recommending it to you now - take yourself out of Ibiza town and visit Vila Mercedes one night on your next holiday.

This large converted villa, is set in large gardens directly on the harbour in San Ann, about 100m from the main taxi rank, and 50m from the bus terminal.

There is a very laid-back bar, with seating set out in the villa's gardens, where you can drink, and enjoy the live entertainment/music that is provided at weekends. If you are dining, you can sit in the gardens, or within the villa which has balconies on two floors.

The service is friendly but very professional, and the food is superb.

Eat early, and stay for drinks after dinner. The live music is atmospheric and laid-back. The Vila Mercedes has to be the place in San Ann for a quality night out.
